Thai Basil ground pork over rice

This is an amazing dish that is very affordable and has plenty of portions for a large family.  We make this dish at home and there are leftovers for meal prep as well! delivery.

Start with Salmon Creek Farms 2# ground pork.  Cook off in large pan and crumble then set aside. 

In same pan add one half large onion sliced into slivers, one tablespoon chopped garlic, 6 oz sliced mushrooms of your choice, we use Cremini or oyster mushrooms also add 2 or 3 large sliced jalapeno peppers depending on the heat desired, seeded, and deveined.  Sauté  for about 5 minutes. 

In a separate bowl mix 4 oz of thick teriyaki and 3 oz of hoisin sauce,

Add the pork back into the mixture then add in the sauce mixture and stir.

For the finishing touches add 4 oz of fresh chopped Thai basil and mix in.  Remove from heat and then add 2 to 3 oz of chopped fresh cilantro.

Serve over white or sticky rice for an absolutely amazing dish!
